Founded in 1989, the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational foundation that serves the needs of finance and insurance personnel within the dealership community while assisting the lenders, vendors, and independent general agents who support the F&I function. AFIP is active in the United States, Canada, and Europe. AFIP Certification is considered the MBA of the F&I trade — recommended by the National Automobile Dealers Association and supported by select Automobile Trade Association Executives.
